Numerous scheduled events and activities take place from November through April. Don’t miss the world‑famous pancake breakfast every Saturday (Nov.–Apr.) from 8:00–9:00 a.m., serving pancakes, sausage, coffee, and orange juice at a great price.

Clubs and organizations host special events you’ll want to be part of. Sunday church services are offered, and the pavilion is a central gathering spot for potlucks, boat and tennis club meetings, musical performances, entertainment, plays, and movies. Be sure to ask for a calendar of events—or request the VO Buzz—when you register at the office.
A Small Paradise
Located on Kemp Channel, our community offers one of the most accessible boating routes to the backcountry as well as a quick ten‑minute run to the open Atlantic and its coral reefs. Nearby, Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is a must‑see for snorkeling and diving in crystal‑blue waters. On the Gulf side, Cudjoe Key leads to the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge—an ideal destination for kayaks and small boats.
